Active Manuka is effective as an antibacterial and antioxidant for... wounds, cuts, burns, skin problems and irritations, acne stomach ulcers, destroying the helicobacter pylori bug present in the stomach. Sore throats, tummy upsets, irritable bowel syndrome. Suggested Use: For duodenal and stomach ulcers and intestinal problems: take a teaspoon on bread one hour before meals with no fluids and again at bedtime. Can be taken direct from the spoon without bread. For wound healing: Apply with a knife or spatula and bandage, preferably with waterproof secondary dressing. For deep wounds put honey on dressing pad. Ensure honey has wide contact with wound surface. Change dressing daily or more frequently if the wound is giving off a lot of fluid. |
