The Happy Families Story

Happy Families is a leader in honey and bee sting products for joint comfort, soothing of the body and support of the body's natural healing process.

We've been producing and marketing therapeutic health products and veterinary supplements from our head office in Auckland New Zealand since 1997.

Before starting Happy Families director Tim Bickerstaff pioneered talkback radio in New Zealand and worked in radio and TV in Australia and New Zealand as a sports broadcaster.

Co-director Jenny Wheeler spent a decade editing national newspapers and magazines including a role as founding editor of New Zealand House & Garden magazine.

She is the author of Successful Women, a book on women in management and in 1998 with Tim Bickerstaff published Heroes and Villains, a top-selling sports book.

Happy Families was started in response to concerns Tim and Jenny noticed amongst many baby boomers facing chronic health problems.

Since the launch of Honeybalm and then Ignite Tim and Jenny have talked to thousands of their customers. They welcome direct contact with the people who use Happy Families products, both to assist them with any questions they may have and to learn of their experience with the Happy Families range.

Office manager Kathleen Bidois takes care of business in our Auckland head office. Trained as a radiographer in Colorado, Kathleen raised a family in New Zealand and combines a life long passion for good health practice with her work in customer support.
